This was a collaborative project among 3 people. We used Unreal engine to complete this project. This Level Design course was taken along side Game Studio which led to the PAX 2018 submission. That day in April all the students needed to find a new College as Mount Ida closed unexpectedly.

Myself, Devlin and Cole had to make the design choice to use some unreal asset packages: Realistic Grass, Trees, and Ocean Water. Devlin provided a beautiful Topo map of the general island geology that followed the level design layout, as well as, the LCVP models located along the shore line. Cole provided a myriad of structure assets, weapons, crates, even a small fort and all with textures! The guy works hard!

My contribution was the general Level Design voted best for this project pitch. This was built for Asymmetrical competitive play, meaning that, each point has it's strengths and weaknesses to promote dynamic use of the map. I manipulated the terrain tools and mostly the rock assets included with the engine assets to match the topology map provided by Devlin, and asset strategic locations things like: Caches and Mounted Weaponry.
