- Pax Exeter Production -
This project was for Game Studio a course taken at Mount Ida College in Newton Ma. It was a total of 21 students involved in the course, and we worked extremely hard to make the deadline in just a semester.
My contribution after being elected to Game Design and Programming Lead, was the over all implementation of game mechanics as well as user interface / user experience.
This was a House of the Dead style shooter created with Unity using C#. The primary mechanic was to use a cross-hair using either mouse and keyboard or Xbox One controller to control the cursor fire. Objects to be affected by raycasts were: Ammunition, Enemies, Environment objects as well as Health collectibles.

Friday April 5th 1:30pm Mount Ida College announces we are no longer a College.
Post event for us was immediately after we setup our booth. Play tests went well as we stood next to several indie projects. The feedback was great, many of the players were able to complete the level and stayed to read the credits! We each catered to our strengths I'm quite proud of my colleagues everyone deserved recognition for their efforts.
However, that Friday at about 1:30pm Mount Ida College announced that it is no longer a College, which as a result means we were no longer able to keep the booth active at PAX. It was the real world experience of a game studio vanishing instantly in front of us. Upset that we couldn't promote ourselves as students, we also needed to secure a new college outside of the FASFA deadline at that point. That also means that all the original game files are lost to the Mount Ida assets.
